Mount Vernon Middle School is Outstanding!
Mount Vernon Middle School combines a love of learning and the use of technology to ensure students receive an education that will help them succeed in high school and beyond. The middle school encourages student learning through technology by the use of laptops for every student. The 1:1 technology program allows students in grades 5 and 6 the use of a laptop in each classroom. Students in grades 7 and 8 are issued a laptop to take home each evening to complete assignments.
All middle school students have an opportunity to participate in a variety of adventures while attending the middle school. In addition to core classes, students may participate in band, chorus or orchestra. Extracurricular activities such as basketball, cross country, football, softball, track, volleyball, or wrestling are available or students may choose to become involved in some of the many clubs and activities. Some of the clubs offered at the middle school are Art Club, Building Club, Drumming Club, Robotics Club, Science Club or the Yearbook staff.
Mount Vernon Middle School provides students a unique learning environment for success!
